High point on the ridge that separates the Mono and Agua Caliente drainages. Forest jeep road (5N17) crosses the ridge but is a tough route to enjoy by bike or on foot.

Elevation: 5065 feet. This peak was named after Joe Hildreth, an early day pioneer to the area. He established a ranch on Mono Creek that later became known as the Ogilvy Ranch. Joe was a market hunter who killed deer, jerked the meat and sold it in Santa Barbara.
