This camp was probably named for a local pioneer family. It is located on the poorly maintained Kerry Canyon Trail 3 I W02. Seasonal water is available from creek. There is one table, l double ice can stove. The Kerry Canoyn Trail runs from the Indian Trail in Pine Canyon to Pine Flat, then south down to La Brea Canyon.

Administration: Los Padres National Forest, Santa Lucia District
Access: East of Santa Maria via State Highway 166, Tepusquet Canyon Road, Forest road I I N04 through Colson Canyon to the Lazy Camp turnoff, and the kerry Canyon Trail (30WO2) for 4.2 miles to the camp. Access is also possible via the Sierra Madre Road (32S 13), Miranda Pine Mountain, Forest road I I N03, and the Kerry Canyon Trail from the north if the inclement weather gates are open. The camp is located on the west side of the canyon beneath some coast live oak trees.

Special features: The Kerry Canyon Trail has been designated for 2 wheel vehicle use, but it is presently in very poor shape for such use. It is OK for foot traffic.
