Location
Lower Santa Ynez River

Many oak trees, large sites, hilly area. Some sites are a short distance from the parking spur. Paved roads. Closest dump station is at Cachuma Lake. Access to the Santa Ynez River along the last 6 miles of Paradise Road. Watch out for poison oak. Firewood available for $5.00 from campground host.

Camp CostCactus Loop - $91.00 (up to 50 people); Live Oak Loop - $91.00  (up to 50 people); Sycamore Loop - $91.00 (up to 50 people);  Pine Loop $91.00 (up to 50 people); Caballo Loop - $116.00 (equestrian site with corrals - up to 60 people)

Adventure PassA free permit for Day Use in the Santa Ynez Recreation Area will be issued by the Concessionaire when camping in a Concession managed campground.

Access

  1. Take Highway 101 to the Hy 154 turnoff.
  2. Continue 10 miles on Highway 154 to Paradise Road.
  3. Drive 2.5 miles east to Fremont Campground.
