As you walk out to the end of Santa Cruz you will marvel at the houses on either side of the steps which are perched almost right on the cliff's edge. I love the patio of the one on the right. The chairs look directly down on the beach, with great views up the coast. Once on the beach you have access to a section of the coast not available when the tides are higher.

Access / Parking
- Follow Shoreline Drive west for a half mile from Shoreline Park to Santa Cruz Street.
- There are a few parking spots on the beach side of Santa Cruz but it is easier to park along Shoreline. It is just a half block to the steps. There are quite a few steps but nothing close to a thousand of them.
