Broadcast Peak is located just east of Santa Ynez Peak on the western crown of the Santa Ynez Mountain Range. A large number of radio and other types of electronic services have their broadcast antennas located on different parts of the peak.
A paved road runs from Refugio Pass to the peak. Just beyond the peak, the paved road ends. A dirt road continues on to again join pavement at the Winchester Gun Club. The road eventually ends at San Marcos Pass at Highway 154. The dirt road is not maintained and is in very rough shape.
